My teaching approach combines linguistic expertise with motivating methodology, and is significantly shaped by my studies in foreign language didactics at the Institute for German as a Foreign and Second Language (DaF/DaZ) at the University of Jena. The teaching there is based on the latest findings in psychology and neuroscience, and enjoys an excellent international reputation.
I design varied and engaging lessons with a clear focus on sustainable, practice-oriented learning. As a dedicated and dynamic teacher, I tailor the lessons to specific contexts and the individual needs of learners, and cover all four skills essential to comprehensive language acquisition (speaking, reading, listening, and writing). For me, motivation is the key to successful learning – which is why my lessons are lively and participatory. Since everyone learns differently, I develop flexible and personalized programs – for both individuals and groups.
For Companies
I have extensive experience in a wide range of learning contexts and teach both adults and adolescents. In addition to other formats, I offer intensive courses specifically designed to prepare learners for entering the job market or studying at schools and universities in Germany
I have experience working with heterogeneous groups and possess the methodological tools necessary to successfully integrate different language levels within one group.
Especially for people in vulnerable situations – whether due to social, emotional, or psychological factors – I can create a safe, empathetic, and respectful learning environment.
